Colorado Hula - 2012

    In October 2012, Holly and I vacationed in the Pagosa Springs area of Colorado.  I filmed Holly in the aspen forests, dancing to the song:

I Ka La'i O Lahaina

    This song was written by Nathan Aweau, and is performed by Hapa.  The song is about the Noio, a beautiful songbird that inhabits the island of Maui.  In this hula, Holly is joined by other dancers from her hula group, Halau Hula Napuaokalei'ilima, conducted by hula master Kehau Chrisman in northern Arizona.
